Zamet Spółka Akcyjna (Zamet S.A.), for the sake of safety, respect and observance of your rights, with particular emphasis on the right to privacy, presents the privacy and cookies policy, which explains the principles of use, collection and processing of personal data. When processing personal data, we adhere to the following guidelines, implementing the following conditions for the processing of personal data.
Principles regarding the processing of personal data:
- “processed lawfully”,
- “collected for specified lawful purposes and not subjected to further processing incompatible with those purposes”,
- “adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary for the purposes for which they are processed”,
- “correct i.e. up to date”,
- “kept in a form which permits identification of data subjects for no longer than is necessary to achieve the purpose of the processing”,
- “processed in a manner which ensures appropriate security of personal data, including protection against unauthorised or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage, by means of appropriate technical or organisational measures”.
Lawfulness of the processing – meaning that we have at least one of the following legal bases for processing your data:
- Your consent to the processing of your personal data for one or more purposes specified by us,
- processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are party, or to take steps at your request, prior to entering into a contract,
- processing is necessary for us to comply with a legal obligation,
- processing is necessary to protect your or another person’s vital interests,
- processing is necessary for the performance by us of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in us,
- processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued

Legal basis of data processing
Depending on the purpose for which we will process your personal data, this will be:
- Your consent,
- the conclusion and performance of a contract with you,
- the fulfilment by us of our legal obligation,
- the necessity to achieve the purposes of our legitimate interests.
Automated decision-making
We will not process your personal data by automated means or subject it to profiling.
Period of retention of personal data
The retention period of your personal data depends on the purpose for which we process it. We calculate it based on the following criteria:
- legal provisions that may oblige Zamet Group to keep your data for a certain period of time,
- the period that is necessary to protect our interests, e.g. claims relating to our cooperation with you,
- the period that is necessary for Zamet Group to provide its services,
- the period for which you have given your consent.
Recipients of your data
Recipients of your data may be:
- entities providing services to us, e.g.: IT, legal advice, etc.
- entities entitled to request your personal data from us on the basis of applicable regulations,
- other companies of the Zamet Group on a jointly administered basis.
Transfer of data outside the European Economic Area
We will not transfer your personal data outside the EEA or to an international organisation.
Your rights in relation to data processing
Under the terms of the legislation, you have the right to:
- access to the content of your personal data,
- To rectify (amend, complete) your personal data,
- restriction of their processing or deletion,
- portability of the personal data you have provided to us, i.e. to receive this personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format. You may send this data to another controller. If this is technically possible you have the right to request that your data be sent by us directly to another controller,
- object to further processing of your personal data.
You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of our processing of your data on the basis of the consent given before its withdrawal.
If you find that we are processing your personal data in violation of the law, you can file a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection, in writing – to the address of its registered office or electronically – via the ePUAP platform.
How do we secure your personal data?
The safeguards we have in place to protect your data comply with legal requirements and guarantee an appropriate level of data confidentiality.
Changes to our privacy policy
We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy by publishing its new content on the website. Once a change has been made, the privacy policy will appear on the website with the new date.

- the basis for the processing of your data provided in response to the advertisement is Article 6(1)(b) and (c) of the GDPR in conjunction with Article 2211 and 2 of the Labour Code,
- and for data not listed there and if you submit an application independently of any recruitment we are conducting, the basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- If you are applying for a position where we offer a civil law contract (including an internship or apprenticeship):
- Article 6(1)(b) GDPR is the basis for processing your data provided in response to the advertisement,
- and for data not listed there and if you are submitting an application independently of any recruitment we are conducting, the basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- Notwithstanding paragraphs 3 and 4 above, we may process your data on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, i.e. our legitimate legal interest in establishing, defending or pursuing claims related to the recruitment process.
- Your data will not be passed on to third parties except under an obligation to do so under generally applicable law or as part of a data processing entrustment relationship (including to entities providing support services to us, such as IT, legal or HR consultancy).
- You have the right to request access, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing and data portability – under the terms of generally applicable law.
- If you consider that we are processing your data in violation of the law – you have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection – in writing to the address of his office or electronically, via the ePUAP platform.
- Providing your data and giving your consent to its processing is voluntary, but it is necessary for us to be able to process your application or include it in our database of candidates – for the purposes of future recruitment.
- To the extent that we process your data on the basis of your consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us by e-mail at:ochronadanych@zametsa.com or in writing to our registered address with the note “Data Protection”. However, this does not affect the correctness of our processing of your data until it is withdrawn.
- Your personal data will be processed for the duration of the recruitment process and for 3 years thereafter.
